Some studios ask for a deposit to reduce no-shows and protect time for longer treatments. The deposit is part of your service price, not an extra charge - it is deducted from what you owe on the day.
If you cancel within the studio free-cancellation window, deposits are normally refundable. Outside that window they may be retained. The studio policy is shown on the booking.
